Helena's laptop microphone picks up voices can be heard in the background as someone, presumably the instructor, claps their hands several times and addresses who can be assumed are students. then there are some sounds of approval and a metallic clicking-like sound on the floor amongst the shuffling before it quiets down again. then one voice — Helena's voice — breaks the silence:]
You are here alone again, in your sweet insanity
All too calm, you hide yourself from reality
Do you call it solitude, do you call it liberty,
When all the world turns away to leave you lonely?
[
several of the students start tap dancing as soon as the first verse ends]
The fields are filled with desires
All voices crying for freedom
But all in vain they will fade away
There's only you to answer you, forever
[
now full-out tap dancing can be heard as she continues singing and finishes up the song, fading out to the tap dancers. they finish up and there is the sound of applause as they finish up their part and the instructor says something else and dismisses them all for the night, right as the microphone shuts itself off]
[ ooc; She's singing "The World" from the .hack//SIGN soundtrack. Don't be too alarmed when you click the link btw, it'll just shoot you straight to the vocal part of the song. ]
