I almost wish I was back in France. I could sing this late and not disturb anyone. Doesn't mean I can't go over these lines anyway.

...

That is a lot of food. And a ridiculous way to ruin a good breakfast.

How is he so slim?

[ ooc; I'm (read as: she is) watching Man v Food and he just had fried chicken eggs Benedict. It was intense. ]

Oct. 28th, 2009

Mm. So much for sleeping. Some wine and a book will do, though.

Meanwhile, I've found my costume. The fishnets and the boots, on the other hand, won't be worn. I have better boots to go with the costume...

There's something about penning songs when the season changes. Maybe the change is inspiring? Either way, I cannot wait to try these out.

Sep. 27th, 2009

Mm, I should make another trip back home before the end of the year. It was quite a lovely trip.

Now I need to get out of these clothes and sleep off some of this jet lag...

Hm. I really should make a trip home soon. Everything seems to be going well here so far, and there are no immediate projects for me to overlook.

That was a stupid move, Helena. So much for going out on the boat today.

Aug. 3rd, 2009

what is this I don't even

My throat feels strained, what the hell.

Jul. 31st, 2009

Kain~ I found a music hall here! [insert image of school campus and location of music hall is circled] I'm actually inside right now since I wanted to practice a bit.

These green ribbons are interesting.

[voice post]

So I can't get through to Mother in any way - my phone's refusing to work and my e-mail keeps being sent back to me. And to add to it, Christie is being stuffier than usual - not that she isn't stuffy on default, but it's like coming here made it worse. I could have just appeared without her...

But it was a great night to escape to the beach and just relax.

So much for that performance...

[ Goes silent for a bit before she starts singing, switching between French and English. ]

Jul. 26th, 2009

All right, I was in the theatre and now I'm in a hotel? And where's Christie...

I should call Mother before she starts freaking out.

Jul. 24th, 2009

Hm...

[italics are French] I haven't spoken French in some time. I need to keep up before I start forgetting the smallest things.

Some blanc manger would be good right about now.

Jul. 14th, 2009

That shower felt good, although I accidentally opened up my cut, ugh. And there goes my sleeping schedule.

I am going to throw my cell phone against a wall soon.

Jul. 12th, 2009

[ Okay, so now she took some meds, and it's really early, and so she's a bit delirious. Excuse her extra-haughty voice right now. ]

Bravo. Pot calling the kettle black, huh? "Shut up, stop whining, you're all so annoying." You know, Atlas, it would do you well to learn from your own words and, oh, I don't know, STOP BITCHING.

I hope you get impaled with something to shut up that useless mouth of yours first.

Jul. 10th, 2009

[ Her journal fluttered open as she crossed her arms, setting the journal down on a nearby chair as she leaned against the wall, looking at the high ceilings within the Music Hall. ]

You know, I never thought my Music Hall would become a safe haven for a situation like this. It's...unusual seeing it so big and with this many people in it...

[ ooc; BTW, the scene going down in here? Everyone's free to notice and comment on it since, y'know, an ally just took down an ally. ._. ]

Jul. 9th, 2009

Everyone on campus needs to get to the Music Hall on campus as soon as possible. There's another person here from the aforementioned Rapture and the hall has become big enough to accommodate everyone on campus. Also, there are two locked rooms here and I suspect one of them is the clinic he mentioned.

Jul. 7th, 2009

[ sounds of the keyboard being smashed randomly is picked up as the microphone is activated, as well as a set of one-liners from the Thuggish Splicer ]

IT'S JUST A STANDARD PROCEDURE!

[ the sound of books hits the floor, and then a moment of fluttering pages before another book hits the floor ]

Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so...

[ a few more indescribable noises before there's silence; then the front door opens and closes as some light singing is picked up ]

That was a good late-night walk. Much better than staring at the wall.

Hm? What's wrong? [ her voice gets louder ] Is someone in here? Hello...?

Get out of my office! [ there's another sound of keyboard smashing as the microphone is abruptly shut off ]

Last-minute business matters are the most annoying thing to deal with, especially ones that require flying out to take care of them.

May. 28th, 2009

Great, I can't sleep.

I think I'll start on that book I grabbed from the library the other day.

May. 14th, 2009

I despise jet lag with a passion. And this book isn't helping, either.

I think I'll take a late-night walk on the beach.
